Disney has appointed Rochelle Knock as new Disney Africa boss and she will take up the position from December.
Rochelle Knock, as new vice president for Disney+ & Networks and country head for sub-Saharan Africa, replaces Christine Service who is exiting Disney South Africa after 23 years.
Rochelle Knock moves to Disney Africa from Yoco Technologies where she was head of customer value management.ead of Customer Value Management.
Disney says Rochelle Knock will represent The Walt 
Disney Company in sub-Saharan Africa, where she will be responsible for "driving the overall business 
growth strategy
 in this territory and fostering collaboration across the team to 
deliver on growth opportunities".
She will lead its Disney+ direct-to-consumer business, as well as Disney's family and 
factual linear networks activity, support and partner with the platform 
distribution team, and support the development of the business in other 
areas managed at a regional level for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

 & Networks and country manager Iberia and sub-Saharan Africa, says "Rochelle’s

Besides Yoco, Rochelle Knock worked at MultiChoice where she was the head of product and base management and the head of customer value management where she developed and launched MultiChoice's DStv Rewards loyalty programme.
She also worked at Vodacom as head of customer value management.
