Sources tell me that Magatho Mello has now officially resigned as SABC board member, making him the second SABC board member to quit the beleaguered broadcaster's top structure due to continued acrmonious infighting between the SABC board on the one side, and the SABC chairman dr Ben Ngubane and the SABC's suspended group CEO Solly Mokoetle on the other side.
Magatho Mello's official resignation follows that of SABC board member Barbara Masekela in the middle of last month that send shockwaves through the South African television industry.
