Auditions open for new 6th season of SA's Got Talent on e.tv; Tats Nkonzo back as presenter with DJ Fresh, Lalla Hirayama and Shado Twala as judges.


Auditions have opened for SA's Got Talent with the reality show returning for a 6th season.

It will mark the 4th season of SA's Got Talent on e.tv since the show, produced by Rapid Blue, jumped from SABC2 after the first two seasons to e.tv.

House DJ, Thato "Fresh" Sikwane and Lalla Hirayama who joined as new judges the previous season will both be back again with longtime judge Shado Twala, and SA's Got Talent presenter Tats Nkonzo also remains.

Auditions for the 6th season of SA's Got Talent will take place in Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town during May.

Contestants can pre-register and register for SA's Got Talent by emailing talent@rapidblue.com and ask for an entry form and send in a completed entry form which will secure a spot at the nationwide auditions. Contestants can also show up on the day at 07:00 and fill in a form at the various audition venues.

Contestants need to bring their ID, must "dress like a star", and bring all their props and whatever they need for their act to impress the judges with them on the day.

SA's Got Talent auditions will take place at the following venues:

Durban (16 May)
Olive Convention Centre (81 Somtseu Road)

Johannesburg (23, 24 May)
Focus Rooms (1, The Core, Leeuwkop Road & Kikuyu Road, Sunninghill)

Cape Town (30, 31 May)
Belmont Square Conference Centre (Belmont Road, Rosebank)
