M-Net shines golden at the Globes; 'confirms once again that M-Net channels bring the absolute best series and movies from Hollywood'.

The South African pay-TV broadcaster once again shined golden at the 2015 Golden Globes with almost all of the night's big winners being TV shows and movies broadcast on M-Net and its various other M-Net packaged TV channels on MultiChoice's DStv satellite pay-TV platform.

Excluding only the Amazon internet series Transparent not picked up by any South African broadcaster yet, Downton Abbey on BBC Entertainment (DStv 120), and the Russian foreign language winner Leviathan, M-Net secured broadcasting and licensing deals for everything that won.

Not only that, but M-Net also brought South African viewers the content that won extremely quickly in several cases over the past year - ranging from the movie The Normal Heart and TV series like House of Cards.

The film which won best drama at the 2015 Golden Globes, Boyhood, can currently be seen on DStv BoxOffice and the masterful work will soon be shown on M-Net, just like the film winner for best comedy, The Grand Budapest Hotel (pictured).

Basically all of the other winners in TV series and films at the 2015 Golden Globes have been shown, are shown, or will be shown soon on M-Net (DStv 101) or its M-Net Movies, or other M-Net supplied channels to DStv like VUZU AMP (DStv 114) and M-Net Edge (DStv 102).

"M-Net and M-Net Movies are thrilled with the results of this year's Golden Globe awards," Lani Lombard, M-Net's head of publicity tells TV with Thinus. "It confirms once again that our M-Net channels bring the absolute best series and movies from Hollywood to Africa".
