eKasi+ on OpenView HD lines up co-production documentary series, No Borders, about Brazilian and South African favela and township life.


eKasi+ (OVHD 105) on OpenView HD has acquired a Brazilian documentary series in 8 episodes, No Borders - From Township to Favela, which is a co-production between South Africa's Ochre Moving Pictures and Brazil's Mosquito Project.

No Borders shows the reality of living in a favela in Brazil and in a township in South Africa through the eyes of two men.

Philip Malepa is a Soweto tour guide and TV presenter who experiences favela life and Sidney Tartaruga then experiences township life.

No Borders was filmed in Rio de Janeiro in August and in South Africa in August.

No Borders is broadcast on Fridays on eKasi+ at 19:00.
