BREAKING. The Last Word With Lawrence O'Donnell and The Ed Show moving back to their original timeslots on MSNBC.

MSNBC (TopTV 410) is moving The Last Word With Lawrence O'Donnell back to its weekday timeslot of 04:00 (South Africa time) where the show started in September last year, before it moved to 02:00 in January.

The Ed Show will move back to 02:00, followed by Rachel Maddow at 03:00 and The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell at 04:00,'' MSNBC announced. ''This move will strengthen the flow of our programming,'' said MSNBC president Phil Griffin said in a press release announcing the move.

''As the name implies, The Last Word belongs at the conclusion of our programming day, thoughtfully wrapping-up the day's political dialogue. Ed's passionate voice is a perfect kickoff.''

The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell will be on MSNBC from Tuesdays to Fridays in South Africa, with various documentaries in the 04:00 timeslot on Saturday mornings.
