BREAKING. Idols on M-Net supersizing its final Idols Results Show announcing the winner to an hour and a half.

You're reading it here first.

I can exclusively break the news that M-Net plans to supersize the last Idols Results Show in which the winner of the sixth season of Idols will be announced on Tuesday, November 2 to a live hour and a half show.

Currently the weekly Idols Results Show on a Tuesday are only 30 minutes, but I can reveal that a massive 90 minute live Idols Result Show will be broadcast on the pay channel from 19:00 on November 2, following the Idols finale on Sunday, October 30.

As I broke the news RIGHT HERE way back in May, M-Net decided to move the Idols Results Show to a Tuesday this season to give more time for voting and voting verification and also decided therefore not to announce the winner of the sixth season during the Idols finale on the Sunday as in the past. Because the Idols Results Show announcing the winner on November 2 will now have a duration of 19:00 to 20:30 the shows following it on M-Net will fall away for that Tuesday.
