The SABC ad-minister-ing some government love before appearing in parliament tomorrow to discuss its leadership crisis.

Tomorrow, the SABC - in the form of the SABC board and the SABC board chairperson dr Ben Ngubane - has to answer in front of parliament about the unmitigated mess and childish power struggles the top executives are embroiled in. The immature childlike empress (oh wait, that the ruler in The Neverending Story. I'm getting confused again . . .), dr Ben Ngubane is set to square off against the board over the ''appointment'' of Phil Molefe as the SABC's new head of news.

This evening the SABC's flagship TV news bulletin lorded over by Phil Molefe,  featured president Jacob Zuma waving from the airplane during an international trip, the minister of defence, the minister of health, the minister of international relations, as well as several high ranking government officials. And a Port Elizabeth teacher staying home today.

Just saying.
